Child’s Wooden Rocking Chair – Shabby Chic Nursery Decor

The perfect child’s wooden rocking chair for your little one.

Handcrafted out of sturdy maple, with only one previous owner. It is on the larger side for a child’s sized chair, would be more suitable for an older toddler but is definitely not unusable for a younger one either!

Purchased early this child’s wooden rocking chair could be of use to him/her for several years before they grew out of it.

It measures 16″ W x 24 1/2″ T.

The seat is 13 1/2″ W x 12 D and sits 12 1/2″ off the ground.

The rocking chair was painted with 4 colors of chalk paint.

The topcoat is Lavender with a Moss Green and Ballet Slipper Pink underneath.

Yellow flowers are stenciled below the topcoat.

The stain is a mix of Kona and a Natural/Colonial Maple, with an Antique White Stain top coat.

Finally, the entire piece sealed in 3 coats of Oil Modified Clear Satin Polyurethane.
