Solid Teak Rocking Chair – Dipped In Paint
This absolutely gorgeous solid teak rocking chair has been completely restored to better than its original beauty!
A classic style, oversized rocking chair made out of 100% Indonesian Teak wood. Teak is especially great for outdoor furniture as its natural oils do a great job protecting it from the elements.
The bottom half was cleaned thoroughly to remove any residual oils, and coated with a special primer that prevents bad reactions between paints and the wood’s natural oils. It was then coated with a gorgeous grey-blue mineral paint by Melange Paints called “Old Soul”.
The entire chair has still been sealed with 3 coats of spar varnish for even better protection.
A small flower hand-painted on the top of each side on the backrest for just a touch of whimsy 🙂
The chair is oversized and extremely comfortable for people of all shapes and sizes.
