“Craftsman’s Showpiece” Art Deco Wood Chair by Scott Sanders of “KRay Custom Refinish”

This gorgeous 100% Maple handcrafted Art Deco Wood chair was made back in the ’50s. It was found with the back and leg sections coming apart, so to revamp it we took the entire chair apart. Each piece was sanded and stained separate from each other to get this incredible 2 toned look. It is; stability-wise, a brand new chair. As an added bonus, Scott also sanded and shaped the seat slightly for a more comfortable seating spot.

Art Deco Wood Chair Specs

It is a smaller chair measuring only 37 1/2″ tall, and 14″ wide on the backside. The front of the seat is 16″ wide, and it’s 15 1/2″ deep. It may be small but it is most definitely sturdy weighing in at about 18 lbs.

Stained with a golden pecan color for the lighter areas and a dark Kona stain for the darker areas. The Pinstriped front legs have extremely sharp, beautiful detailing. The back of the seat has a grooved inset border that was carefully stained with the dark Kona as well.

It would be a wonderful accent chair and a conversation starter for a room. It truly is one of a kind!
